These ancient caves are located in the Huhunya forest reserves close to Boti Flls and the three-headed palm tree in Yilo krobo in the eastern region of Ghana. On the way here, one will experience a beautiful green landscape with no wild life.
The caves provide shelter and acted as a hideout to the indigenes in the area in the olden days. For hundreds of years, different Akan tribes lived in these caves.
There are holes in the rock walls that one can hit to produce different sounds, but were initially used as hiding holes for valuables.
