It is the southernmost tip of Ghana. On the map you will see one tip but when you climb the 1925 solar powered Light house, you will have a breath taking panoramic view of Ghana’s only coastal rainforest reserve, many rolling hills and the Atlantic Ocean. It also has a few secondary attractions such as hiking and exploration of its cultural present and colonial past. This old light house is a fantastic place to admire the landscape, and even catch a glimpse of the whales (August –February) and dolphins (July –November) that use this sea route during their migration. You may also see a squirrel frolicking around. A caretaker is available to give you a tour, all days of the week and on public holidays.
